COPERNICUS' RETURN TO MONTE MARIO
Free extraordinary visits during the International Year of Copernicus
On the occasion of the
International Year of Copernicus, established on the occasion of the 550th anniversary of the birth of the illustrious astronomer who revolutionized the conception of the world, the Astronomical and Copernican Museum of Rome finally reopens its doors to schools and the general public to present an temporary exhibition of Copernican memorabilia from the original collection of Arturo Wolynski, its first curator.
The visits will take place in guided form and by reservation, Friday will be dedicated to schools and Saturday for the general public, according to the following calendar:
November 17 and 18;
1 and 2 December;
December 15 and 16.
The duration of the visit is 1.5 hours
starting at 9:00, 11:00 and 14:00.
Please respect the start time of your shift visit, otherwise it will not be possible to guarantee access to the Museum.
Reservations are made by telephone on 06 94286425 from Monday to Friday 10am-12pm and 2pm-4pm.. Reservation is mandatory by the day before the visit.
Given the type and specificity of the collections, a minimum age of visitors of 8 years is suggested.
The Museum will remain permanently open also in 2024: visit calendar, booking methods and cost will follow.
